Day 1 - Sunday, October 17
Arrive in Casablanca • Welcome Dinner

Your Sacred Journey begins as you arrive in Casablanca, Morocco’s vibrant gateway where Europe, Africa, and the Atlantic Ocean meet.

After you are transferred from the airport, settle into our elegant hotel, take some time to relax and embrace the excitement of finally being here. Soon we’ll gather for our Welcome Dinner, where familiar faces reconnect, new friendships begin, and anticipation grows for the remarkable journey ahead.

Day 2 - Monday, October 18
Casablanca: Where Faith Meets the Sea/Howard Session 1

Our morning begins with a special session with Howard, offering an opportunity to gather, set our intentions, and begin the journey together.

Today we discover Casablanca, where modern Morocco meets centuries of history. Along the Atlantic, we’ll experience the spiritual presence of the magnificent Hassan II Mosque, one of the world’s great architectural masterpieces and among the few grand mosques in Morocco open to non-Muslim visitors. Its exquisite craftsmanship offers a meaningful glimpse into the beauty of Islamic culture.

We’ll continue through the charming Habous Quarter before exploring Casablanca’s historic Jewish Quarter, discovering another important thread in Morocco’s rich cultural tapestry.

This evening we’ll dine at the legendary Rick’s Café, inspired by the beloved classic film Casablanca. Though the movie was filmed in Hollywood, its story forever linked the city with audiences around the world. Created as a reimagining of Rick’s Café, the restaurant captures the romance, elegance, and nostalgia of the film, a wonderfully fun way to end our first full day.

Day 3 - Tuesday, October 19
Rabat to Fes: Into Morocco's Spiritual Heart

Today’s journey carries us through centuries of Moroccan history as we travel from Casablanca toward the imperial city of Fes.

Our first stop is Rabat, Morocco’s elegant capital, where royal monuments, ancient fortifications, and beautifully preserved historic districts reveal the country’s rich heritage. We’ll also explore its historic Mellah, learning about the enduring Jewish presence that has contributed to Morocco’s cultural tapestry.

As we continue our scenic journey, the landscape unfolds into glimpses of everyday Moroccan life before we arrive in one of the world’s oldest continuously inhabited cities.

By late afternoon, we’ll reach enchanting Fes, long regarded as Morocco’s spiritual and artistic heart. Hidden within the ancient medina, our beautiful riad welcomes us with traditional architecture, peaceful gardens, and warm hospitality—an unforgettable setting for the days ahead.

Day 4 -Wednesday, October 20
Fes: Walking Through History

Today we step into one of the world’s oldest and most fascinating living cities, where history surrounds us at every turn.

As we wander through the UNESCO World Heritage medina of Fes, we’ll discover winding lanes alive with the sights, sounds, and aromas of everyday Moroccan life. Skilled artisans continue traditions passed from generation to generation, creating intricate brass work, handwoven textiles, carved wood, and the leather goods for which Fes is renowned.

We’ll visit the city’s famous traditional tanneries, where leather is still prepared and dyed using methods rooted in centuries of craftsmanship. From the terraces overlooking the colorful dyeing vats, we’ll gain a fascinating perspective on this enduring tradition, with an opportunity to browse beautifully handcrafted Moroccan leather goods.

Along the way, we’ll admire magnificent architecture, historic religious and educational sites, hidden courtyards, and bustling souks before gathering for a special dinner celebrating another unforgettable day in Fes.

Day 5 - Thursday,October 21
Fes: Artisans, Heritage/Howard Session 2

Today begins with our second session with Howard, offering time to focus on our inner journey, reflect, and begin another inspiring day together.

Next, we’ll discover another side of Fes, beginning with the magnificent Golden Gates of the Royal Palace and the historic Jewish Quarter, where centuries of history tell the story of a once-thriving community that helped shape the city.

We’ll also visit a celebrated pottery workshop, where talented artisans continue the tradition of creating Fes’ distinctive cobalt-blue ceramics by hand. Watching these craftsmen at work offers a wonderful glimpse into skills lovingly preserved through generations.

The afternoon is yours. Relax at the riad, visit the spa or traditional hammam, explore nearby streets, or simply settle into a quiet corner with a cup of refreshing Moroccan mint tea.

Sometimes the most meaningful travel moments are the ones we never planned.

Day 6 - Friday October 22
Through the Atlas Mountains to the Red City of Marrakech

Today reveals yet another side of Morocco as we leave the ancient streets of Fes behind and travel south toward legendary Marrakech.

As we ascend into the Middle Atlas Mountains, the scenery transforms through cedar forests, rolling hills, fertile valleys, and charming mountain villages. We’ll travel through the alpine town of Ifrane, often called the “Switzerland of Morocco” for its European-style architecture, immaculate gardens, and refreshing mountain climate—a delightful surprise in North Africa.

Continuing south, the landscape opens into expansive plains, olive and palm groves, and distant views of the majestic High Atlas Mountains.

By late afternoon we arrive in vibrant Marrakech, affectionately known as the “Red City” for its warm rose-colored walls. Full of energy, color, and timeless charm, Marrakech offers an exciting new chapter in our adventure.

We’ll settle into our elegant boutique hotel, our home for the next four evenings, with time to relax before tomorrow’s journey into the High Atlas.

Day 7 - Saturday, October 23
Berber Villages & the Majesty of the High Atlas Mountains

This morning we leave the city behind and journey into the breathtaking High Atlas Mountains, home to Morocco’s indigenous Berber people, whose traditions and hospitality have endured for centuries.

Traveling through the picturesque Imlil Valley, we’ll discover terraced hillsides, walnut groves, apple orchards, and villages nestled against dramatic mountain peaks. Along the way, we’ll visit the lively weekly market in Asni, where local families gather for fresh produce, spices, handcrafted goods, and livestock—an authentic glimpse into rural Moroccan life.

One of today’s highlights is lunch at magnificent Kasbah Tamadot, Sir Richard Branson’s mountain retreat. Set high above a beautiful valley, it offers breathtaking views of the High Atlas and nearby Berber villages—a perfect place to relax, enjoy exceptional cuisine, and absorb the beauty surrounding us.

Returning to Marrakech, the evening is yours to relax or perhaps enjoy one of the city’s wonderful restaurants recommended by our guide.

Day 8 - Sunday, October 24
Marrakech: A Feast for the Senses

Today we immerse ourselves in the vibrant energy, beauty, and fascinating history of Marrakech.

Our exploration begins among tranquil gardens and magnificent palaces before wandering into the heart of the ancient medina. Around every corner, colorful displays of spices, handcrafted lanterns, woven textiles, leather goods, and intricate pottery create an unforgettable tapestry of Moroccan artistry.

We’ll visit the beautiful Majorelle Garden, restored through the vision of Yves Saint Laurent and Pierre Bergé, before discovering the museum devoted to the rich history and artistry of Morocco’s indigenous Amazigh people.

The souks offer wonderful opportunities to search for handwoven textiles, colorful ceramics, aromatic spices, beautifully crafted lanterns, and other treasures to carry home.

As evening approaches, Marrakech transforms once again. The legendary Jemaa el-Fnaa comes alive with musicians, storytellers, artists, food vendors, and entertainers. Its oral and performance traditions are internationally recognized as part of Morocco’s living cultural heritage.

A day filled with color, music, discovery, and memories to savor long after you return home.

Day 9 - Monday, October 25
Howard Session 3/Amal Connection, Community & Celebration

Our morning begins with our final session with Howard, where we’ll go deeper, checking in with our hearts and exploring the sense of connection and oneness that can emerge when we step into a faraway land.

 

Our last full day together offers one of the most meaningful experiences of our journey.

After a heart centered session with Howard, we’ll be off to visit Amal, an inspiring nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering women facing difficult circumstances through culinary training and pathways toward employment. More than learning to prepare traditional Moroccan dishes, we’ll have the opportunity to connect with remarkable women whose resilience, generosity, and welcoming spirit leave a lasting impression.

Together we’ll prepare an authentic Moroccan meal, share stories around the table, and enjoy the delicious lunch we’ve created. Some of the most meaningful connections in travel come through experiences we share together.

The afternoon is yours to enjoy at your own pace. Perhaps indulge in a traditional Moroccan hammam, explore the colorful souks one final time, or simply relax and reflect on the journey we’ve shared.

This evening we’ll gather for our Farewell Dinner, celebrating unforgettable experiences, meaningful friendships, and memories that will stay with us long after Morocco.

Day 10 - Tuesday, October 26
Until We Meet Again

As our Sacred Journey through Morocco comes to a close, we’ll transfer to Marrakech Menara Airport for our journey home.

Over the past ten days, we’ve wandered through ancient medinas, shared meals filled with laughter, discovered breathtaking mountain landscapes, encountered remarkable artisans and communities, and experienced the warmth and beauty of Morocco.

Most importantly, we’ve shared the adventure with a wonderful community of like-minded travelers, creating friendships and memories that will continue long after we’ve returned home.

Morocco may be behind us, but what we experienced here will travel with us.

HOWARD CAESAR

Howard Caesar has been teaching universal spiritual principles for 50 years. As a New Thought minister, he led two successful ministries, including a 3,000-member congregation in Houston for 34 years. He has spoken to thousands in person and through radio and television broadcasts, sharing messages that help people live happier, healthier, and more meaningful lives.

A member of the Board of Preachers at Morehouse College and a founding member of the Leadership Council of the Association for Global New Thought, Howard has received the Light of God Expressing and Voice of Unity Awards.
