Sacred Croatia: A Journey into Its Soul & Beauty with Howard Caesar

October 11 - 19, 2025

 

This Sandy’s Sacred Journeys Booking Agreement (“Booking Agreement”) is a legal document between Sandy’s Sacred Journeys, LLC (“SSJ”) and you (“Tour Guest or You”).  

Tour Guest Acknowledgment  

The following represents the Terms and Conditions of this Booking Agreement of the  Croatia Adventure with Howard Caesar Tour dated October 11 - 19, 2025 (“Tour”): Each Tour Guest must SIGN this Booking Agreement. A copy of the signed Booking  Agreement will be sent to You via the email address You provided below. 

Tour Price Inclusions 

  • Accommodation 8 nights: 
    • Location: (4) nights at 5-Star Hotel Palace Dubrovnik and (4) nights at 4-Star  Amphora Hotel Split 

Room Type:

    • Sea View with Balcony (Hotel Palace, Dubrovnik)
    • Superior Sea View (Amorpha Hotel, Split)

 

    • Occupancy: Based on double occupancy (two Tour Guests per room in 2 twin beds or 1 large bed) Single occupancy is available at an additional cost.
  • Included Features: 
    • 2 sessions with Howard Caesar 
    • Entrance: Cable car ride to Mount Srd 
    • Full-day tour of Medjugorje and Mostar 
    • Tour and tasting at a winery en route to Split (taste 3 wines) 
    • Entrance and Guided tour of Plitvice National Park 
    • Walking tour of Zadar with a visit to St. Donatus Church 
    • Entrance to Diocletian’s Palace 
    • Daily breakfast (8 mornings) 
    • 3 Lunches 
    • 3 Dinners:
      • Welcome Reception
      • Sunset Dinner Cruise
      • Farewell Dinner
    • Private airport transfers 
    • All taxes related to accommodations and activities on the Tour 
    • Porterage fees 
    • All hotel taxes, service charges, and government sales tax 
    • Gratuities for all group activities are included 
    • No administrative fees for credit card payments

Tour Price Exclusions 

  • Airfare 
  • Travel Insurance 
  • Drinks and meals not listed in this Booking Agreement 
  • Tips for airport transfers, bellmen and housekeeping 
  • Personal expenses (e.g. laundry, telephone calls) 
  • Optional spa or healing treatments 
  • Note: Any increases in fees or taxes may result in additional costs. Tour Guests will be notified of such changes with a payment link. Tour itinerary may be altered based on local closures or changes that affect the current plan. 

Tour Pricing 

  • $6,997 Regular Price per person based on double occupancy 
  • Single Supplement: $2265 

Deposit 

A non-refundable deposit of $1,000 is required upon signing the Booking Agreement. 

Payment Options 

  • Credit Card Options: After initial $1,000 non-refundable deposit (No credit card fees). 
  1. (6) Monthly auto payments of $999.50. from February 10, 2025, to July 10,  2025. Late sign-ups will have an adjusted payment schedule. 
  2. OR (3) payments of $1999 are due by January 30, April 10, and July 10, 2025 (an  invoice will be sent prior to each due date along with the payment link.) 
  3. OR (1) time single payment of $6,997 (which includes deposit). 
  • Other Payment Methods: Include Personal checks, Cashier’s Checks, Wire transfers, or  Zelle. Contact Holly Johansen for arrangements at [email protected].  
  • Single supplement: 3 additional payments of $755 or 1 payment of $2265
  • Booking After July 15, 2025: Tour availability dependent. Tour cost must be paid in full at time of booking, excluding add-ons like extra nights. 

Occupancy and Roommates 

  • Tour price is based on double occupancy. 
  • Tour Guests seeking double occupancy, please note: 
    • Tour Guests are encouraged to pair with a roommate. Upon request, SSJ will assist in finding a roommate. Please note, roommate match-up is based on availability.  
    • If double occupancy is not achieved by August 10, 2025, the single supplement fee of $2550 may apply to the last sign up without a roommate.
  • Roommate Consideration: To ensure a comfortable living environment for all,  please be considerate of your roommate. If you tend to snore or create noise that disrupts others' sleep, you may be required to book a private room during the Tour at your own expense. 

Cancellation Policy 

  • Deposit: Non-refundable 
  • Refunds: 
    • o Cancel by April 15, 2025: Full refund (of payments made) minus $1,000 deposit o Cancel by July 15, 2025: 50% refund (of payments made) minus $1,000 deposit o Cancel on or after July 15, 2025: No refund 
  • Pre & Post Tour Accommodation Nights: 
    • Pre and post-tour accommodation nights may be available at an additional cost. While not necessary, booking a pre-night in Dubrovnik can be helpful for adjusting to the time difference, and an extra night or two in Croatia may also be a nice option if you'd like to explore more. As these hotels tend to book up quickly, we recommend reserving early to secure the best rates and availability.
  • Pre & Post post-accommodation nights are outside the scope of the Tour. No SSJ  services or itinerary shall be provided to or for Tour guests.  

Flights 

  • Tour guests may book their own flights, however, SSJ's affiliated agency, Cary Travel  Express (“CTE”), can assist with flight arrangements. 
    • Booking Fees: $100 per ticket for flights to Europe regardless of class of service. 
    • These fees are additional to the ticket cost and non-refundable. 
    • CTE is not responsible for flight management, seat assignments, or any travel-related issues. 
    • Tour Guest flight should arrive in Dubrovnik no later than 4PM on Oct 11 and check-out of Split hotel is 11am on Oct 19th. Your return flight home or elsewhere would depart from Split Airport.  

Travel Insurance 

  • SSJ highly recommends purchasing travel insurance to protect You and your investment. Tour Guest may book insurance on your own or book through our affiliated agency, Cary Travel Express which offers various options for US citizens at no additional service fee. Contact information will be provided after You register. "Cancel for any reason" insurance must be purchased within 15 days of deposit receipt. If insurance is not purchased, a waiver must be signed. 

Travel Documents 

  • USA Citizens: A valid government passport is required.
  • Passport: Must be valid for at least six months after October 10, 2025 (valid through at least April 10, 2026). Renew if necessary.  
  • US citizens will need a valid ETIAS (European Travel Information and  Authorization System) authorization to enter Croatia starting in mid-2025. To  apply for ETIAS online, you'll need to:  
    • Provide personal details 
    • Provide passport information 
    • Answer security questions 
    • Pay the €7 application fee 
  • Always confirm the most current requirements with official sources in your country of origin and/or your airline as your travel date approaches to ensure you have the correct and up-to-date information. 

Health and Safety Regulations 

  • Keep updated on health regulations, including those related to COVID-19 or other health concerns, as they can evolve. 

Fitness Level Required 

  • Tour Guest acknowledges that a moderate level of fitness is required for a comfortable journey in Croatia, as the Tour involves walking tours on cobblestone and uneven pavement. At times, buses and or other transportation may not be able to access certain locations, and some additional walking may be necessary. If you are unable to walk 1-2 miles and require assistance, including wheelchair or general support, please notify us as soon as possible so we can make special  arrangements for an additional fee. 

Baggage 

  • Check with your airline for baggage size and weight regulations. 
  • Bus allowance in Croatia is 1 large piece of luggage and one carry-on. 

Responsibility 

Indemnification 

By signing this Booking Agreement, the Tour Guest agrees to hold harmless Sandy’s Sacred  Journeys, LLC, Howard Caesar, Cary Travel Express, Avanti Destinations, their affiliates,  officers, directors, employees, agents, and any third-party service providers from and  against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including  reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in connection with the Tour, including but not  limited to:  

  1. Tour Guest’s Actions: Any act or omission by the Tour Guest including but not limited to negligence, failure to follow instructions, or breach of the terms of this  Booking Agreement. 
  2. Travel Arrangements: Any issues related to travel arrangements, including but not limited to missed flights, delays, changes in itinerary, or cancellations caused by airlines, other transportation providers, or external factors beyond SSJ’s control.
  3. Medical Emergencies: Any medical conditions or emergencies occurring during the Tour, including but not limited to inadequate medical facilities or services at certain destinations, and any costs related to medical treatment or evacuation. 
  4. Force Majeure Events: Any loss, damage, or inconvenience caused by events beyond SSJ’s control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of terrorism, pandemics, war, civil disturbances, or other force majeure events. 
  5. Travel Documents and Requirements: Any issues arising from the Tour Guest’s failure to secure necessary travel documents (e.g., passports, visas), comply with health or vaccination requirements, or adhere to any entry or exit regulations of the destinations included in the Tour. 
  6. Travel Insurance: The Tour Guest’s decision not to purchase travel insurance or the  choice of travel insurance coverage, including any related claims or issues with insurance policies. 

Limitation of Liability 

  1. Scope of Liability: SSJ, Howard Caesar, Cary Travel Express, Avanti Destinations and their respective affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental,  consequential, special, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of enjoyment, or emotional distress. 
  2. Independent Contractors: SSJ ,Cary Travel Express, and Avanti Destinations act solely as intermediaries for independent suppliers, including but not limited to hotels, airlines, and other service providers. SSJ, Cary Travel Express, and Avanti  Destinations shall not be liable for any acts or omissions of independent suppliers. 
  3. Supplier Terms: All travel services and arrangements are subject to the terms and conditions of the respective independent contractors/suppliers. The Tour Guest agrees to abide by the terms and conditions specified by each independent supplier and understands that these terms may limit or exclude liability. 
  4. Maximum Liability: The maximum liability of SSJ, Howard Caesar, Cary Travel  Express, Avanti Destinations, and their affiliates shall not exceed the total amount paid by the Tour Guest for the Tour, except where such limitation is prohibited by law. 

No Modification of Terms 

Only an authorized representative of SSJ may alter, add to, or waive any term or condition of this Booking Agreement. Any modifications must be made in writing and signed by an authorized representative of SSJ.  

Acknowledgment & Agreement 

By signing this Booking Agreement, the Tour Guest confirms they have read, understood,  and agree to all terms and conditions, including the cancellation policy.
